Prime Minister won't take part in EU summit due to political situation at home

Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OLaNO) won't take part in the upcoming summit of EU leaders in Brussels due to the developing situation in Slovakia, TASR was told by Prime Minister's spokesperson Lubica Janikova on Tuesday. "He [Heger] has asked Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala by letter to represent Slovakia at the summit in Brussels," stated Janikova. According to State Secretary Andrej Stancik the main topics of the conference will be developments in the Ukraine and the energy crisis. (TASR)
