Slovak President Zuzana Caputova and her Czech counterpart Petr Pavel arrived for a visit to Kiev on Friday morning. Caputova and Pavel travelled to Kiev by train. They were scheduled to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Caputova and Pavel arrived in Kiev after the entire territory of Ukraine became the target of air attacks on the night from Thursday to Friday. Air defences were also activated in the capital of Kiev. The city municipality said that 11 missiles and two drones were neutralised over the city. As part of their visit the two presidents visited the town of Borodyanka, which was destroyed by Russian troops at the beginning of the invasion. Caputova has already visited Ukraine, doing so last May, while this is the first trip to Ukraine for Pavel, who was sworn in as president only last month.
