Caretaker Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Wlachovský stated that the new Slovak government will keep supporting Ukraine in its rightful fight against Russia's aggression. MFA wrote on Twitter that he had his fist conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba over the phone. He added that "it's Slovakia's national interest to stand with Ukraine". Wlachovský, appointed on May 15, paid his first foreign visit in the office to the Czech Republic. His talks with Czech Foreign Affairs Minister Jan Lipavský were dedicated to the international security situation in connection with Russia's aggression in Ukraine and to its post-war reconstruction.
