The Special Prosecutor's Office has charged ex-judge, former presidential candidate and active politician Stefan Harabin with defamation of nation, race and beliefs, and condoning a crime. General Prosecutor's Office spokeswoman Jana Tokolyova said on Monday. The information was first reported the same day by the daily Dennik N. According to the newspaper, the charge is related to the former judge's Facebook status, in which he supported Russian President Vladimir Putin's actions after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The spokeswoman said the Special Prosecutor's Office wouldn't comment further on the matter for the time being.
