The Slovak Security Council addressed the other day the radicalisation of young people in Slovakia. Caretaker Interior Minister Ivan Šimko outlined that he has been discussing potential preventive measures with Education Minister Daniel Bútora. The Interior Minister claimed that they have been looking for conceptual mechanisms to be set in place this summer. One of the measures might be deploying police officers in schools or setting a network of clearly designated officers at the nearest police station to the school concerned.
