President Zuzana Caputova heads to Lithuania for a two-day NATO summit in Vilnius, accompanied by Foreign Minister Miroslav Wlachovsky and Defence Minister Martin Sklenar. Caputova welcomes Sweden's progress towards joining NATO after talks with Ankara. The summit's focus is strengthening defenses on NATO's eastern flank, including Slovakia. Leaders, including US President Joe Biden, address pressing challenges, Ukraine's NATO membership, defense capabilities, and energy/cybersecurity. Wlachovsky joins informal talks with representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Moldova on continued Alliance support.
