The government will provide funds to build a new supercomputer for the Centre for Joint Activities of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV). The supercomputer will serve not only the academic community, but also public and state institutions or private research and development. The development and commissioning of the supercomputer is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The goal of the project is to make it into the top ten of the Green500 list, which ranks the 500 most powerful supercomputers in the world. The machine will also provide computing power to the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU).
