Defence Minister Martin Sklenar met the outgoing Austrian Ambassador to Slovakia, Margit Bruck-Friedrich, at the Ministry of Defence on Monday. The Minister thanked her for the continued cooperation in the field of defence and security, the ministry's press service said on the same day. Bruck-Friedrich has been serving as ambassador to Slovakia since 2019. Sklenar also underlined Austria's help during the difficult pandemic period and the nationwide tests for COVID-19, when Slovak health personnel were reinforced by Austrian doctors. In his discussion with the Austrian Ambassador, the Minister also praised other areas of cooperation, such as radiation, chemical and biological protection, air forces and Special Forces, military education, military transport and international crisis management.
