Israeli president visits Slovakia

Slovak President Zuzana Caputova and Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog praised the strong relations between their two countries. They discussed opportunities for enhanced cooperation in various areas during their meeting on Monday, September 4th. Additionally, they touched upon topics such as the situation in Ukraine, the Middle East, and other current issues. This was announced at a joint press conference held at the Presidential Palace. The Presidents also addressed matters related to the energy sector, renewable energy sources, and gas supplies. Diversifying the sources of these raw materials was emphasized, with Israel potentially being a valuable partner for Slovakia in this regard. Prime Minister Ludovit Odor also met with the Israeli President on Monday, with a focus on increasing interactions between students and academics to foster cooperation in research and the development of new technologies, particularly in healthcare and agriculture. Odor also extended his congratulations to the State of Israel on its 75th anniversary, wishing its people peace, prosperity, and stability.
