Ukraine suspends legal action

Ukraine has suspended all steps related to its lawsuit against Slovakia. Agriculture Minister Jozef Bires is negotiating a new grain trading system with his Ukrainian counterpart. Among other things, they agreed to look for ways to prevent uncontrolled grain exports. The ministers want to introduce a licensing system. Ukraine had threatened to sue us for banning imports. The Slovak government recently approved a ban on grain imports from Ukraine until the end of 2023, which will remain in place until the situation is resolved.
