The OLANO a priatelia coalition won by a significant margin in Roma settlements. These are all villages in eastern Slovakia where more than 1,000 people claim Roma ethnicity. The Special Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating electoral corruption, including allegations of vote-buying in Roma settlements. Igor Matovic claims that they did not discuss the issue of the 500 euros reward for voting in these areas. He sees the high Roma turnout as an attempt to fight the Republika movement.
