Dusan Dedecek, who drove drunk and killed five young people in a traffic accident in Bratislava last year, already knows his punishment. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The Bratislava Regional Court did not accept the prosecution's request for a higher sentence. This was decided by the Court of Appeal on Monday (9 October). At the same time, the court reduced his driving ban from 10 to seven years and his probationary period from three to two years. Dedecek will be sent to a minimum security prison. He must also pay a total of around 5,500 euros to the victims' families.
