In the telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Prime Minister Robert Fico said he supports accession of Ukraine and Moldova to the European Union - but together with the countries of the Western Balkans.
PM Denys Shmyhal of Ukraine said they had outlined the priorities for cooperation: reconstruction, energy and the development of border infrastructure. He added that they also discussed the truckers‘ blockades on the Slovak-Ukrainian border.
