The United States took the unusual step to publicly advise the Slovak government to slow down.
The embassy in Bratislava issued a statement saying: "The United States of America agrees with the European Commission that the wide range of intended changes to the Special Prosecutor's Office and other proposed reforms require a thorough and clear analysis."
