The Slovak National Party, the junior party in the coalition, is considering naming its own candidate for President. This could undermine Peter Pellegrini, chairman of another coalition party Hlas. He has not officially announced he would run but is widely considered to be the front runner.
SNS says that Pellegrini has rejected support from them, so they consider it logical to find their own candidate.
