Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar is in Slovakia today, meeting her Slovak counterpart Zuzana Caputova at the Presidential Palace. This is the Slovenian President's first official visit of Slovakia.
"Aside from bilateral ties, other main issues to be discussed at tomorrow's talks will also be a climate crisis and green transition. The two Presidents are going to discuss the current foreign affairs as well," stated Caputova's spokesperson Martin Strizinec.
Later on Wednesday, the Slovenian President will meet with Slovenian soldiers stationed as part of a multi-national NATO battlegroup at the Lest military base.
The incumbent Slovenian President's predecessor, Borut Pahor, visited Slovakia last time in November 2022.
