The Supreme Court has overturned the conviction of a former Slovak National Party chief and former Zilina mayor. It asked the Specialized Criminal Court to reconsider its verdict. Jan S. was sentenced for corruption, trying to bribe judges.
The decision was taken in a private session of the Supreme Court in November, but not published until yesterday.
