The traffic accident of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Andrej Danko, in which he damaged a traffic light in Bratislava's Dúbravka district, has sparked discussions. Last week, he hit a traffic light in the capital Bratislava with his car. Politicians ask him to clarify what has happened, including his coalition partner and Parliament Speaker Peter Pellegrini. Prosecutor General Maros ZIlinka said on Friday that a criminal prosecution will begin.
Danko himself said he is cooperating with the police and will meet members of his SNS party in connection with the accident. Andrej Danko also confirmed he will run for the office of the president.
