Prime Minister Fico explained yesterday why he used his meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany, to plead for a motor gang leader. Jozef Hambalek, who is the European head of the Russian motor club Night Wolves, is on the EU sanctions list.
„He has done nothing to hurt Slovakia's national interests and it's unprecedented that a citizen of Slovakia and the EU has been included on a sanctions list for nothing else but his fondness for motorcycle riding”, Fico said at a press conference.
