Slovakia will benefit if the Western Balkan countries are admitted to the EU, said Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar after meeting colleagues from these countries in Rome. Trade with Serbia alone exceeds one billion euros a year, he said. Slovak manufacturing companies are well established in Bosnia.
Slovenia and Croatia are EU members, but Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania are not.
