The nephew of Andy Warhol, Slovakia’s most famous son, will receive a posthumous award for his uncle. The award was planned to be presented by president Caputova during her visit to the USA, but she caught Covid. It will now be presented by the Slovak ambassador, on a later date.
Donald Warhol said his uncle would have appreciated the award, the Order of the White Double Cross II. Class. In Pittsburgh, Warhol spoke in Slovak with his mother. But he answered in English, because he wanted his mother to learn the language. (TASR)
