The two candidates heading into the second round are couritng the candidates left behind. Ivan Korčok met with Ján Kubiš and has said he wants to talk to other candidates.
The SNS party announced it endorsed Peter Pellegrini, chairman of the Hlas party and a coalition partner with SNS. In a statement, the party said that Korčok was the candidate of the parliamentary opposition and ‘an unacceptable evil.‘
