President on Day of Unjustly Prosecuted: Let's not forget victims of Stalin Era

Let us not forget the victims of the Stalin era and let us not allow the inhumanity of those times to return, President Zuzana Čaputová said on the occasion of the Day of the Unjustly Prosecuted on Saturday. On the night of April 13-14, 1950, the communist regime in Czechoslovakia launched a nation-wide crackdown on monasteries under Operation K. The crackdown on both monks and protesting believers was marked by violence and unprecedented cruelty. "Let us protect our freedom - a life of freedom means a life without fear," stated Čaputová.
