The Hlas-SD party stated on Saturday that it doesn't share Premier Robert Fico's opinion that Slovak National Party (SNS) leader Andrej Danko should become the next parliamentary chair.
In a debate on RTVS earlier in the day Fico opined that he himself, Peter Pellegrini and Andrej Danko as the three most senior state representatives could guarantee the stability of Slovakia and "very dynamic" implementation of the government manifesto. Nevertheless, he noted that he respects the fact that the right to nominate a candidate to the post of House chair belongs to Hlas-SD in line with the coalition agreement.
