A police investigator has pressed charges of manslaughter and bodily harm against the 40-year-old driver who crashed into a firefighter vehicle on the D1 motorway near Horna Streda on Monday, killing two firefighters who were extinguishing a burning car and causing injuries to two further individuals. According to Trencin region police spokeswoman Katarina Kuzmova, the investigator also filed a motion to remand the man in custody. The exact causes of the accident are still under investigation.
