The Slovak railway carrier Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko introduced new train coupes exclusively for women. The only exception for male entry are boys up to 10 years old. The railway operator has received complaints from women who were harassed by men on trains. Ever since they introduced the women's coupe, they have been receiving positive reactions. There are separate sections for women in most express trains traveling from Bratislava to Košice and back. In addition to women's coupes, the railway carrier also introduced, for example, a quiet zone in trains.
