Fico leads government meeting post-attack

For the first time since the assassination attempt in mid-May, Prime Minister Robert Fico attended the government meeting on Tuesday, July 9. The government meeting dealt with a recovery plan and  European funds. On Wednesday, July 10, the parliament will continue their regular government meetings led by the Prime Minister. On Tuesday, Fico also spoke with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Šmyhaľ on the phone. Fico confirmed Šmyhaľ’s offer to hospitalize the paediatric oncology patients from the destroyed hospital in Kyiv in Slovakia.
