Preparatory work on the construction of a new military hospital in Prešov has started. The construction itself might be launched by the end of next spring, Defence Minister Robert Kaliňák stated. Kaliňák explained that the current University Hospital in Prešov will be transformed into a new building, which will increase the scope of the healthcare it provides. The current premises of the hospital might serve as educational institutions or training centres. The whole project should be covered by the Defence Ministry.
