Residential property offer prices are 1.6% higher in the second quarter of 2024 than at the beginning of the year. This is the first price growth after six quarters of declines. Even so, in the year-on-year comparison, prices are lagging behind last year. The National Bank of Slovakia reported.
The average price of flats in the second quarter of 2024 reached EUR 2,749 per sqm. The offer has also increased, which is higher in the quarter-on-quarter comparison by equal 5%.
According to the analyst, housing prices in Slovakia have most likely already reached their bottom in this cycle. Real estate agencies are also reporting growing interest in new housing. There are also signs of recovery in the mortgage market.
