Slovakia could cooperate with South Korea in the construction of a new nuclear power plant in Jaslovské Bohunice. The Prime Minister Robert Fico (SMER-SSD) announced that negotiations on this topic are being prepared for the autumn. Korea is building and supplying nuclear reactors - it wants to ship dozens of plants to the world in the coming years. The opposition says the Koreans are the only ones in the world so far who can deliver reactors on time and without overcharging. But it raises a warning finger over the government's plan to build a new plant on its own dime and without a private investor.
