Slovak Olympic House in Paris visited by over 44,300 people
More than 43,300 people visited the Slovak Olympic House in Paris until Sunday, thereby exceeding initial expectations, the Slovakia Travel tourism promotion agency told TASR on Sunday evening, adding that the figure can still grow until its definitive closing.

Officially called Maison Slovaque, the Slovak Olympic House was visited by both Slovak and foreign guests and athletes, said agency's spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova. She highlighted the good atmosphere, rich cultural programme, sports attractions and tasty gastronomy in the house.

"Visitors could not only taste Slovak food there, but also get to know the atmosphere of Slovakia, watch live sports broadcasts, try to create pieces of art at workshops, engage in sport or watch cultural performances," said Slovakia Travel general director Ivana Vala Magatova.

The Slovak Olympic House, along with other national houses, was located in the Park of Nations, within the large La Villette park in Paris. It was open to the public daily from July 27 to August 11.
