Government back from summer break

The government at its session on Wednesday is set to deal with a motion to conclude a framework loan agreement to borrow €300 million from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) to co-finance European-fund projects in the current programming period.

The cabinet will also discuss several draft amendments concerning laws in the agenda of the Labour Ministry, such as increasing the financial allowance for taking care of disabled children from €100 to €200 per month.

Meanwhile, the Culture Ministry has submitted a draft amendment concerning the law on financial support of churches and religious societies, proposing to adjust state contributions to these entities so that the contribution will depend on the rate of increase of the minimum wage. At the same time, churches should receive a one-off bonus in 2025.
