Grape harvesting in Slovak vineyards is already in full swing. This year’s harvest started earlier and is moving faster than usual. Growers say weather is to blame. Leading up to the annual picking, winemakers believed that after last year's historically terrible season, the current harvest would be better. Now, it appears total wine yield will be lower, but the quality is expected to be quite good.
