Deputies of the Slovak Parliament should discuss the coalition's proposal to dismiss the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament, Michal Šimečka, from his post on Thursday (12 September). Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) said this on Friday. The motion for the dismissal of Šimečka was tabled by members of the Smer-SD and SNS parties. It was initiated by the Prime Minister. He accuses Šimečka of linking foundations that received money from the state to his family members, such as his uncle, mother and partner.
