The recent bomb threats against schools, airports and offices are a cyber attack, said Police Chief Lubomir Solak following a session of the parliamentary defence and security committee held behind closed doors on Tuesday.
The Police Chief said that he informed the committee about the investigation into the threats, refusing to go into greater detail. According to him, there is no reason for the public to feel concerned.
Solak stressed in this vein that the police are dealing with reports and incidents, but that does not guarantee the cyber security of institutions.
At the same time, he refused to say whether the police have managed to establish contact with the perpetrator.
