AmCham Anniversary: Blanar praises 30 years of US-Slovak cooperation

The Foreign and European Affairs Ministry supported the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the founding of American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Slovakia, with Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) delivering a speech at the three-day Festival of Future event on Thursday (September 12), TASR has learnt from the ministry's press department.

Blanar commended 30 years of successful US-Slovak cooperation. "AmCham is one of the most active foreign chambers of commerce in Slovakia. It is therefore our fully-fledged partner in our effort to bolster the Slovak economic diplomacy. It's important to follow up on three decades of our partnership and put to use the potential we have abroad as well as here at home," declared the minister and added that out of 300 AmCham members up to 25 percent are Slovak businesses.
