The flood situation remains rather complicated and serious in Bratislava's borough of Devinska Nova Ves, the local authority has reported, calling on the inhabitants of the Na Hriadkach area to secure their homes and property from potential floods on Monday.
"Furthermore, we urge these inhabitants to get ready for a potential evacuation," stated head of the borough's press department Martina Legath.
On Sunday (September 15), police helped to evacuate several houses in Devinska Nova Ves, with the situation most critical along the Mlaka stream.
