Flood barriers between the Bratislava boroughs of Devin and Devínska Nová Ves have been removed, allowing the restoration of public transport shuttles. These shuttles will be free for residents until the end of the week, replacing temporary high-capacity vehicles. Car access to Devin will open Thursday evening, regulated by police. Only residents of Devínska Nová Ves and Devin, as well as rescue forces, will be allowed passage. The city advises that access is not permitted for those from other boroughs or visitors, especially for flood tourism.
