President Pellegrini left for USA to deliver speech at UN General Assembly

President Peter Pellegrini left on Sunday for New York, where he is slated to take part in a session of the UN General Assembly and deliver a speech at the Summit of Future, TASR learnt from the President's Office press department on Saturday. Along with President Pellegrini, Chief of Slovak diplomacy Juraj Blanar left for New York on Sunday, too.

World leaders are to meet on Monday (September 23) for the Summit of Future in New York with an eye towards forging a new international consensus and restoring trust in multilateralism. "This is supposed to become an impetus for the meeting of existing commitments and also for addressing new challenges, including the peaceful use of university and new technologies such as AI," stated the press department.
