The government will continue to compensate households for high energy prices next year, but the aid will be lower than during the energy crisis. Due to the poor state of public finances, the state cannot afford to provide broad compensation for rising energy costs. This year, the compensation amounts to 1.25 billion euros. Prime Minister Robert Fico and Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenický have not yet specified the amount of aid for next year.
