A Slovak government aircraft with Slovak citizens from Lebanon landed in Bratislava on Saturday afternoon, Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar stated at a press conference following the landing, adding that 46 evacuees were on board, including 25 Slovak citizens.
The minister added that Slovakia also provided assistance to nine other countries during the evacuation. One more flight awaits the government aircraft from Cyprus. There will be 44 evacuees on board, including nine Slovak citizens. Three staff members remain at the embassy in Beirut. The others have returned to Slovakia with their family members.
