The Interior Ministry's latest report on extremism (2022-2023) highlights that extremist groups mainly target Jews, Roma, liberals, and LGBTI individuals. It points out a rise in far-right groups that believe violence is a valid way to achieve their goals, along with the emergence of clubs that focus on physical training and combat skills, referred to as "Active Clubs." The report also mentions the growth of movements like militant accelerationism and the incel community.
Additionally, the report stresses that anti-government extremism is influenced by social and economic factors, as well as global crises. It identifies social media as a significant challenge, as it enables the spread of harmful propaganda. The report also notes that extremists use gaming elements to make their messages more engaging and appealing to users, which complicates the fight against modern extremism.
