The Environment Ministry has carried out a total of 48 investment projects aimed at mitigating the consequences of climate change in cooperation with Norway, with the mutual cooperation concluded at a press conference on Thursday.
Urban projects were primarily aimed at developing and implementing an action plan for mitigating and adapting to climate change, while school projects were aimed at raising pupils' awareness of climate change and mitigation measures. The main focus of wetland projects was on restoring and enhancing the capacity of degraded wetland ecosystems to adapt to climate change and fulfil their ecosystem services.
