Slovak President Peter Pellegrini attended a gala concert in Vienna on Monday to celebrate Slovakia's 20th anniversary in the European Union. In his speech, he talked about the strong ties between Slovakia and Austria. "Slovakia has in Austria not only a reliable neighbor and economic partner, but also a friend. We share common values of freedom, democracy, and the rule of law."
The event held at St. Stephen’s Cathedral and co-hosted by Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, featured performances by Slovak artists, including soprano Adriana Kučerová and the Slovak Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra.
