International rating agency Standard & Poor's confirmed on Friday that Slovakia has maintained its rating at A+ with a stable outlook. Its rating remains unchanged and is two notches higher than Fitch's current rating and one notch higher than Moody's. This was announced by the Ministry of Finance, according to which Standard & Poor’s agency appreciated in particular the adopted package of consolidation measures. According to the Ministry of Finance, the stable rating outlook reflects the expectation that Slovakia's deficit will gradually start to decline, mainly thanks to the consolidation measures adopted by the government.
