The government at its session on Wednesday is expected to deal with a so-called green report on agriculture and food production in Slovakia in 2023, according to which Slovak agriculture achieved a positive pre-tax result last year, i.e. a profit of approximately €228 million, down by 38.3 percent compared to 2022.
The cabinet will also discuss a Summary Annual Report of the Slovak Republic for 2023, according to which the public finance deficit reached 5.2 percent of GDP, or €6.4 billion, last year.
Among the other items on the agenda is a proposal to widen the range of crimes for which a witness can be included in a protection programme.
