The world-famous mime and the founder of Slovak pantomime Milan Sládek died on 4 December at the age of 86. He followed the 1960’s art of French mimes but developed a new form of this genre that was more close to local audiences. He was an influential figure in theatre production not only in former Czechoslovakia but also in Europe. More about him later in the show.
