Parliament not approving suggestions for safety of schools in case of bomb attacks

MPs on Thursday voted down an opposition motion for a resolution on measures taken to ensure the safety of schools and residents threatened by bomb threats. Opposition MPs have demanded that Parliament pass a resolution asking the government to report on the security and preventive measures taken and planned to protect the lives and health of children, teachers, non-teaching staff in schools and residents threatened by bomb threats. They also asked the government to list effective measures to ensure that the teaching and learning process runs as smoothly as possible.
