On Thursday, universities in Bratislava, Nitra and Trnava confirmed having received an anonymous email threat of a bomb attack timed for Friday. In co-operation with the police, several of them scrapped classes as a precautionary measure. The Education Ministry is in contact with security forces regarding the emails. It helps universities manage crisis events and improve security. "Protection from threats, hybrid attacks, and investigation of reported bomb attacks are the responsibility of the state security forces that is, law enforcement agencies," the ministry noted.
