The President of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Fiačan, hosted Nigel Marcus Baker, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Slovakia, at the Constitutional Court in Košice on Thursday. Their working meeting focused on key challenges facing the court, its authority and role, as well as Slovakia’s contributions to the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission). Constitutional Court Judge Jana Baricová, Slovakia’s permanent representative at Venice Commission meetings, also participated in the discussion.
